How in the world did that happen?! That's what we imagine was going through one woman's head when she realized that her orange cat was trapped inside her cup holder. The woman was stunned as to how her cat got itself in there. Worse, she had no clue how she was going to get the little one out.

Something tells us that cat mom Katie really had to maintain her composure after seeing the mess her cat had gotten into.

The video is horrifying to any pet owner. No one ever wants to walk into a room and see that their animal is completely and totally trapped.

"You want to know what I wake up to?" the woman said from behind the camera. "My cat, my kitten, in a ... coffee cup holder."

We can hear the frustration in the woman's voice and we don't blame her one bit. Thankfully the orange cat kitten could breathe and wasn't in any serious trouble, but it was understandably very scary for the cat mom.

"Any suggestions?" she asked the comments section. "I've called the vet they can get me in, but any at home suggestions before I go spend money!"

Obviously, this isn't a joking matter, but people in the comments section couldn't help but poke fun. "Now you can carry him like a lil purse," one commenter joked. "You better change his name to Stanley," someone else teased, referring to the very popular water bottle brand. "On the bright side he might harness train very easily," one person pointed out. "New Stanley’s are looking mighty cute!! I might need this one!" kidded another person.

While other people had some real suggestions. "If their head and shoulders fit, the rest of them should be able to squish through. Hold him upside down so that he slides forward out of it instead of backward," wrote one commenter. "Your local fire department should be able to help, but please post the video when you take him," someone else begged. "Cheaper to take him to the fire department and have them remove it to be honest," a third person reasoned.

Thankfully this story has a happy ending. In a follow-up video, the cat mom shared that she managed to free her kitty from his trap.

"For everyone needing an update, we did in fact get it off," she said. She used scissors to cut through the top part of the plastic holder.

We're just happy that it seems like the kitten was unharmed through the whole ordeal.
