Oprah's sleep doctor says to avoid this one thing before bed

When it comes to bedtime, Oprah Winfrey abides by this simple rule.

In a recent interview with FEMAIL, the media mogul’s sleep doctor, Dr. Michael Breus, revealed the key to finding a “sweet spot” in your bedtime routine is to avoid long talks before bed.

“Having big emotional discussions with your partner right before bed is one of the worst things you can do before trying to fall asleep,” he said.

He went on to say that it distracts your mind from the true task at hand, adding, “It sets off this whole level of autonomic arousal, you’re angry, you’re upset, and you can’t stop thinking right before bed.”

Not tonight, honey, we need our beauty rest.
