OPINION: Thanks for coming

May 2—Last week we held what I believe to be the Reflector-Chronicle's first Business After Hours. Several members of the community and some new faces for us stopped by to chat and take a tour of the building.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by despite the weather and the Greyhound Hall of Fame celebration going on the same day. I consider our BAH to be a success. Our goal was to be open, talk with people, and show our office to those who haven't been in before, and we did all of that.

Thank you to Jessica Goodale with the Dickinson County Economic Development Corporation for their help and expertise in promoting and making our event look more appealing. You were a big help!

Congratulations to David Walters for winning our raffle! He won a 4 column by 6 column black and white ad from us.

Lastly, to the person who left a $1 in our "Submit your story idea" box, it's going to take a bit more money to bribe me. I jest, of course.
