One person injured in road-rage shooting near I-30 in Fort Worth, police say

A person was wounded Friday in what is believed to be a road-rage shooting, Fort Worth police said.

Officers responded to John Peter Smith Hospital around 7:45 p.m. to interview a gunshot-wound victim. The injury is believed to be the result of road rage, police said, and the incident possibly took place near Interstate 30 and Lancaster Avenue.

The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, according to police. The suspect is still at large.

The Gun Violence Unit is actively investigating the shooting, police said.
