One Life to Live star Erika Slezak's daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Davies, had died at age 42.

A message on Slezak's official website announced the sad news. “It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of Erika's daughter Amanda Elizabeth Davies who died very suddenly," the message reads. "The family is heartbroken and would appreciate privacy at this time."

Additionally, a representative for Slezak confirmed Davies' death to People on Monday, Jan. 29. The cause of death has not been revealed.

Davies was most known for portraying a teenage version of her mother's character, Victoria Lord, during flashbacks in One Life to Live. The ABC soap opera ran from July 1968, to January 2012, and Davies appeared in episodes in 2005.

Her father, Brian Davies, is known for acting in The Age of Innocence, American Gigolo, Convoy, Mickey Blue Eyes and more. Brian and Slezak also have a son named Michael.

"Brian, Michael and Amanda, I am nothing without you," Slezak said during her acceptance speech after winning her sixth Emmy Award in 2005.

In July 2023, Slezak paid tribute to her One Life to Live co-star, Andrea Evans, following her death at 66 from breast cancer. Evans portrayed her half-sister, Tina Lord, on the show.

"I am absolutely shocked and devastated by this news and I send love and deepest sympathies to Steve and Kylie—they were her whole life," the actress wrote in reference to Evans' husband and daughter.

Our thoughts are with Davies' family and friends during this difficult time.
