Onaway man arrested on criminal sexual conduct, other charges

ONAWAY — An arrest has been made after an Onaway man turned himself into the Gaylord Post of the Michigan State Police.

Oscar Bert Hilliker, 47, visited the Michigan State Police (MSP) Post earlier this month and asked to speak to a trooper because he believed he may have said and done something wrong, according to a release from MSP.

"He told the trooper what he had done with a minor and that he had provided them with marijuana," the press release stated. "The victim was interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center in Alpena."

A report was submitted to the Cheboygan County Presecutor's Office and an arrest warrant was issued on April 16. Hilliker turned himself into the Cheboygan County Jail later that day.
