Omarosa says Trump White House rejects black job candidates and uses minorities as "window dressing"

No blacks wanted in the White House.

Omarosa Manigault Newman on Sunday said the Trump administration rejects black job candidates and props up the few on staff as “window dressing.”

During a television interview, Manigault Newman, 44, a former White House aide, called Trump a racist who refuses to hire minorities.

“It’s much worse than people even realize,” she told MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton. “There are 30 assistants to the president right now and there are none representing the African-American community. In fact, when we submitted [African-American] candidates they were rejected over and over again. And I will tell you that they haven’t even made an attempt to replace anyone to do the African-American outreach.”

“They just kind of detailed a guy over for just three months, I think, to do a little window dressing,” she added. “But there is really no real commitment to diversity in the White House, and he’s unapologetic about it because he’s completely contradicted the commitment [to blacks] he made during the campaign.”

The White House did not immediately respond to a request seeking comment Sunday.

The former “Apprentice” contestant alleges she has heard a tape of Trump using the N-word.

Trump has strenuously denied such a recording exists.

But White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters last week she “can’t guarantee” the President has never used the vile slur because she hasn’t been “in every single room.”
