Fourth quarter: Texas scores again, leads by 35

Third quarter: Keilan Robinson puts Longhorns up 42-14
Texas extended its lead to 42-14 late in the third quarter with a 57-yard touchdown run from Keilan Robinson.
Going to his left, Robinson squirted through the line of scrimmage and avoided a pair of OSU defenders along the sideline. Tight-roping his way down the line, he stayed inbounds for the TD.
Robinson is the sixth different player for Texas to score a touchdown on Saturday.

Third quarter: OSU, Texas trade punts early in third quarter
For the first time all day, Oklahoma State’s defense forced a punt, coming on the Longhorns’ first possession of the third quarter.
The Cowboys showed early life on the following possession, but when facing second-and-1, a high snap led to a loss of 7. The Cowboys failed to convert and punted for the fourth time in the game.

Third quarter: OSU's defense holds on first possession of half
Nathan Latu gets the sack on 3rd and 8, forcing Texas to punt it for the first time today. OSU begins a drive at its own 22-yard line as it trails 35-14 with 9:36 left in the third quarter.

HALF: Cowboys in a big hole, down 35-14
Oklahoma State had a late drive in the first half that looked to have some promise, but ended near midfield when receiver Leon Johnson III had the ball poked out of his grasp. The fumble was recovered by Texas.
The Longhorns drove into OSU territory on the ensuing possession, but were called for a delay of game when they were set up to go for a fourth down. Instead, the Horns attempted a field goal, which Bert Auburn missed to keep Texas’ lead at 35-14.
Texas finished the first half 422 total yards, its most in a half all season, while OSU had 157.

Second quarter: Quinn Ewers leads Longhorns to three-score lead
With a 10-play, 82-yard drive, Texas stretched its lead back to three scores, 35-14 with 2:11 left in the first half.
Quinn Ewers threw his fourth touchdown pass of the game, hitting Jaydon Blue for an 8-yard score.
Ewers has already tied the Big 12 title game record for touchdown passes in a game with four, matching Baker Mayfield of OU in 2017 and Kansas State’s Ell Roberson in 2003.

Second quarter: Nick Martin’s interception leads to OSU touchdown
The OSU defense finally got off the field without allowing a touchdown, and instead, it turned into OSU points.
The 7-yard TD pass from Alan Bowman to Rashod Owens cut the Texas lead to 28-14 with 5:50 left in the first half.
OSU linebacker Nick Martin intercepted a Quinn Ewers pass and returned it inside the Texas 5, with the Cowboy offense punching it in from there.
The Cowboys were hit with a false start penalty that pushed them back to the 7 prior to the TD pass.

Second quarter: Another big Texas TD drive
Keyed by a long third-down pass, Texas drove 95 yards for a touchdown and a 28-7 lead with 11:40 left in the second quarter.
C.J. Baxter powered his way through tackle attempt by OSU linebacker Collin Oliver to score on a 10-yard rush.
OSU’s defense forced its second third-down snap of the game, but once again, Texas struck big.
Facing third-and-10, Texas QB Quinn Ewers threw deep to Adonai Mitchell for a 62-yard gain that kept the drive moving.
Texas faced just one third down on its first three possessions, and that play went for a 24-yard touchdown pass to Ja’Tavion Sanders.

Second quarter: OSU intercepted deep
With Texas leading 21-7 to start the second quarter, OSU quarterback Alan Bowman was intercepted on a deep throw into Texas territory.
Intended for Rashod Owens, the pass was picked off by Texas’ Kitan Crawford at the 5-yard line.
Of OSU’s first four possessions, two have ended with punts and one with a touchdown prior to the interception.

First quarter: Texas defensive star T’Vondre Sweat catches TD pass
After a pass interference call put the Longhorns at the 2-yard line, they went to another trick play. With 362-pound defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat lined up as a tight end, the big man slipped into the end zone for a wide-open touchdown throw from Quinn Ewers.
That put the Horns on top 21-7 with 1:41 left in the first quarter.
OSU has yet to show the ability to slow the Longhorns, who have faced just one third-down play on offense so far.

First quarter: Texas scores again for 14-0 lead

That gave the Longhorns a quick 14-0 lead.
That makes three straight weeks in which OSU has fallen behind by at least 14 points in the first half. OSU rallied to win the last two.

First quarter: Texas lands first blow
After an OSU three-and-out, then a kick catch interference penalty on the Cowboys, Texas struck quickly, scoring on a 10-yard touchdown pass from Quinn Ewers to Adonai Mitchell for a 7-0 Texas edge at the 12:52 mark of the first quarter.
The Longhorns had to go just 39 yards for the score.
The OSU possession ended with a deep third-down throw to Rashod Owens that fell incomplete, though he seemed to be contacted significantly by the Texas defensive back. No flag was thrown, and with the play happening directly in front of coach Mike Gundy, he was adamant in his argument of the call.

Pregame: Oklahoma State without RB Jaden Nixon behind Ollie Gordon II
Considering how the last couple of years have gone with regard to injuries, this Oklahoma State team is about as healthy as it could be for the Big 12 Championship Game.
But one notable absence popped up during pregame warmups, when backup running back Jaden Nixon was not among the Cowboys in uniform. Nixon has been the primary backup to starter Ollie Gordon II.
On the good news side of the ledger for OSU's running back situation, super-senior Elijah Collins is suited up after missing the previous three games with an ankle injury. Collins, Gordon, true freshman Sesi Vailahi and walk-on Seth Swirczynski are the running backs in uniform Saturday.

I've had a few questions about OSU center Joe Michalski. He just took the field in uniform for pregame warmups and is snapping to Alan Bowman. He's banged up, but expect him to play, and his presence is key against the Texas DTs.

Pregame: Cowboys bring out all-black uniforms
Texas, the designated home team for the Big 12 title game, threw everyone a curveball earlier this week when it announced plans to wear all-white uniforms, rather than its traditional burnt orange home jerseys.
So the Cowboys countered with a bold look of their own, going with all-black uniforms, including a fan-favorite helmet logo, the script Cowboys.
