Oklahoma Baptists buy former Sonic Corp. HQ in OKC, plus more commercial real estate deals

Oklahoma Southern Baptists have closed on the purchase of the former Sonic Corp. headquarters at 300 Johnny Bench Drive.

The Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma, which goes by the name WatersEdge, paid Canal Properties LLC and Sonic Building Investments LLC $17.7 million for the four-story, 100,779-square-foot office building, built in 2003, in a transaction handled by Craig Tucker with Price Edwards & Co.

WatersEdge now has the six-story, 117,040-square-foot Baptist Building, built in 1984 at 3800 N May Ave., listed for sale for $7,607,600 with Cushman & Wakefield-Commercial Oklahoma.

  • Phan and Tran LLC paid Dabbour Enterprises LLC $1,650,000 for the 3,150-square-foot former First Bite Café building at 2620 W Memorial Road. George Williams and Paul Ravencraft handled the transaction.

  • Huy Tru paid Braden Group Realty $405,000 for a 5,465-square-foot property at 8125 W Britton Road. Andrew Holder handled the transaction.

  • LFL & LL Trading LLC leased 17,384 square feet of industrial space at 1255 E Reno Ave. Tre Dupuy, Ian Self and Mark Patton handled the transaction.

  • Doortec LLC renewed a lease for 11,960 square feet of office space at 111 N Cooley Drive. Josh Love handled the transaction.

  • Bell & McCoy LLC leased 7,646 square feet of retail space in Neighbors Coffee Building at 11 NE 11. Jacob Simon and Girma Moaning handled the transaction.

  • Rain For Rent leased 7,500 square feet of industrial space at 501 NE 27 in Moore. Self, Patton and Dupuy handled the transaction.

  • Brighter Strides ABA leased 6,064 square feet of office space in Chase Plaza at 3705 W Memorial Road. Williams, Ravencraft, Craig Tucker and Tom Fields handled the transaction.

  • L&K Oilfield Services leased 6,053 square feet of industrial space at 420 Glade Drive. Danny Rivera and Andrew Holder handled the transaction.

  • Wavemax Laundry leased 5,240 square feet of retail space in Almonte Shopping Center at 6125 S May Ave. Everest Ernst handled the transaction.

  • Slate Recovery LLC leased 4,698 square feet of office space in Jamestown Office Park at 3033 NW 63. Derek James handled the transaction.

  • Monarch Behavioral Therapy leased 4,569 square feet of office space at 425 Fretz Ave. in Edmond. Craig Tucker handled the transaction.

  • Prospera Private Wealth leased 3,717 square feet of office space at 4747 Gaillardia Parkway. Self and Dupuy handled the transaction.

  • Petra Restaurants & Café leased 3,250 square feet of retail space in The Fountains at 324 W Edmond Road in Edmond. Rosha Wood handled the transaction.

  • Legacy Title of Oklahoma leased 2,499 square feet of office space in The Nicholas at 6501 N Classen Blvd. Tucker handled the transaction.
