Ohio State women's basketball to open upper level at Schottenstein Center for Caitlin Clark, Iowa game

More Ohio State women's basketball fans will have the opportunity to see Caitlin Clark and Iowa women's basketball in person.

Ohio State Athletics confirmed Monday that the 300-level of the Schottenstein Center will be open for Ohio State vs. Iowa at noon Jan. 21.

The Ohio State vs. Iowa women's basketball game will also be broadcast on NBC.

General admission tickets for the upper level are available for $16 plus fees.

According to StubHub, tickets for Ohio State vs. Iowa are starting at $202.

According to the Schottenstein Center website, the capacity for an Ohio State basketball game is up to 19,700 people. The attendance record for an Ohio State women's basketball game was 17,525 in 2005 when the Buckeyes beat Penn State for a Big Ten championship.

No. 12 Ohio State has won nine of its first 10 games of the 2023-24 season, and will host undefeated UCLA Monday: the No. 2-ranked team in the country,

Iowa, currently ranked No. 4, has won 11 of 12 games including a ranked win against Kansas State.

Clark, Iowa's all-time leading scorer, is the only player in Division I women's or men's basketball with 3,000 points, 750 rebounds and 750 assists. In 2022-23, she awarded the James Naismith Trophy, John R. Wooden Award and the Associated Press Player of the Year, along with Big Ten Female Athlete of the Year.

In 12 games, Clark is averaging 30.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, shooting 48.1% from the field ad 39.7% from 3-point range.
