Ohio State women's basketball bounces back with 108-58 rout of IUPUI

The Ohio State women's basketball team bounced back in a big way on Sunday.

Six days after a loss to Southern California in Las Vegas, the seventh-ranked Buckeyes defeated IUPUI 108-58 at Value City Arena.

Cotie McMahon scored 22 points to lead the Buckeyes (1-1), who had six players score in double figures. Taylor Thierry and Taiyier Parks scored 12, Jacy Sheldon and Celeste Taylor added 11 and Rebeka Miulasikova had 10.

The Buckeyes jumped out to a 15-2 lead and never trailed. Ohio State led by 28 at halftime, 59-31.

Katie Davidson led IUPUI with 23 points.

The Buckeyes' next game is at 7 p.m. Thursday vs. Boston College at Value City Arena.

IUPUI (1-1) opened its season with a 77-72 win over Eastern Illinois on Monday.
