PetCo is set to permanently close its Ocean City location — 12641-310 Ocean Gateway in the White Marlin Mall — in nearly one month, on June 5. The pet store chain's imminent closure is due to an unforeseen increase in rent.
As of May 3, 2024, there is a total of 35 PetCo stores open in the state of Maryland. Until it closes, PetCo's Ocean City location will remain open Mondays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
