NY Giants pick Kentucky CB Andru Phillips in Round 3 of NFL draft 2024. Our scouting report

EAST RUTHERFORD - The Giants found a potential starter at cornerback with the 70th pick in the third round in Kentucky's Andru Phillips, who visited the team on a "30" visit as part of the pre-draft process. Phillips, 22, drew comparisons from The Athletic's Dane Brugler to Titans 2022 second-round pick Roger McCreary, who played for new Giants defensive coordinator Shane Bowen.

Tae Banks will start on the boundary, while Phillips could play his way into the opposite side or in the slot as the nickel.
