Nottingham: Road closed after electric bike and car crash

A road in Nottingham has been closed after a crash between a car and an electric bike.

Nottinghamshire Police shut Queens Bower Road in Bestwood shortly after 07:00 BST on Thursday.

The force said the cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident.

The street is shut between the junctions of Deer Park Drive and Hillington Rise while officers deal with the incident.

Officers have advised motorists to avoid the area until the road is reopened.
