Joey Votto has heard from many teams' social media accounts since becoming a free agent, asking him to consider them as he looks to continue his remarkable playing career.

The Florence Y'alls, for instance, have been tweeting about Votto quite a bit.

On Wednesday, a Twitter account purporting to represent the Expos that posts about bringing Major League Baseball back to Montreal tweeted at Votto in response to his sad tweet Tuesday about "missing ball," asking him to call.

Votto responded, appropriately, in French: "Vous n'existez pas!" The translation? "You do not exist!"

The Expos did exist from 1969 until the franchise relocated and became the Washington Nationals after the 2004 season.

Votto, who played for the Reds from 2007 to 2023, told Dan Patrick last week that he's had 10 times as many offers to be an analyst compared with offers to play this season.
