North Myrtle Beach man buys winning lottery ticket

A North Myrtle Beach man won $200,000 from a lottery ticket he bought at a grocery store.

The man, who was not named, played the Palmetto Cash 5 at the Food Lion on Highway 17, according to the South Carolina Education Lottery.

He matched all five numbers: 4, 11, 20, 24, 26, including thee Power-Up number of 2.

“I’m not giving up on them now,” he said, noting that the numbers held no special meeting to him. He just liked them, he added.

The Food Lion received a $2,000 commission for selling the winning ticket.
