North Canton City Schools' administrators and staff get new contracts

ACTION: Approved the renewal of several administrative agreements.
DISCUSSION: During the regular meeting, the board approved renewing the following administrative positions effective through July 31, 2027.
Getting new three-year contracts are: Veronica Baca-Bernel, assistant principal; Eric Bornstine, principal; Matthew Donaldson, principal; David Eby, principal; Todd Henne, director of business; Michele Hostetler, director of Instruction; Henry Householder, assistant principal; Larry Kinnard, assistant athletic director; Jill Lauter, director of Food services; Joshua Runner, principal; Julie Stingel, special services coordinator; and John Welch, director of special services.
OTHER ACTION:
Authorized challenging the tax valuations of several properties sold during the 2023 tax year: 6550-6552 Wise Avenue NW, owned by Twin Oaks of North Canton; 9239 Akcan Circle NW, owned by LLL Investments IV; 3970 Convenience Circle NW, owned by Mawin Hospitality; 5285 Broadmoor Circle NW, owned by Supreme Bright Ohio V; and 5335 Broadmoor Circle NW, owned by Sharma Broadmoor.
Approved Kay Mcholm as girl’s tennis head coach for 2024-2025 school year.
Approved the Chromebook Repair Care Coverage Plan for K-12 for the 2024-2025 school year at a cost of $105,815.
