Noomi Rapace’s Astronaut Gets a Very Eerie Homecoming in Apple TV+’s Constellation — Watch Trailer

Noomi Rapace returns from outer space to a sliiiiightly different world in the trailer for Constellation, a new Apple TV+ sci-fi drama due for arrival on Wednesday, Feb. 21 (with its first three episodes, followed by weekly releases).

Created and written by Peter Harness (Wallander, The War of the Worlds), Constellation stars Swedish actress Rapace (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) as Jo, an astronaut for the European Space Agency who returns to Earth after a disastrous mission, only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be… different.

The eight-part, conspiracy-based psychological thriller promises “an exploration of the dark edges of human psychology, and one woman’s desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and recover all that she has lost.”

The Constellation cast also boasts Emmy nominee Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) as Henry, a Nobel Prize-winning physicist who has a member of Jo’s team conducting important research at the International Space Station, and James D’Arcy (Agent Carter) as Jo’s husband Magnus, plus Julian Looman (The Mallorca Files) William Catlett (Black Lightning), Barbara Sukowa (The Swarm), and Rosie and Davina Coleman (The Larkins) as Jo and Magnus’ daughter Alice.

Constellation is directed by Emmy winner Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad), Oscar nominee Oliver Hirschbiegel (Downfall) and Oscar nominee Joseph Cedar (Beaufort).
