Here are the nominees for the 2023 ACM Awards in Frisco — including three from Texas

The Academy of Country Music announced nominations for the 58th ACM Awards on Thursday and Texas artists and music groups are included on the list.

This year’s ACM Awards will be hosted by Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks and held at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco.

Dubbed “Country Music’s Party of the Year,” the ACM Awards celebrates country music’s biggest stars and emerging talent.

Tickets for the show can be bought on SeatGeek and range from $449 to $1,000.

Here are all the nominees for this year’s ACM Awards.

ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR

Miranda Lambert is the only Texan nominated for Entertainer Of The Year. The Longview-born country singer and songwriter released her album “Palomino” in 2022 and collaborated with Elle King on the song “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)“ for King’s 2023 album “Come Get Your Wife”.

Dripping Strings group Midland is the only nominee from Texas for this year’s awards. Midland released their album “The Last Resort: Greetings From” in 2022 which includes songs “Longneck Way To Go” and “Sunrise Tells The Story.”

Lambert is the only Texan nominated for Album Of The Year for her 2022 album Palomino which was produced by herself, Jon Randall, Luke Dick and Mikey Reaves.

SINGLE OF THE YEAR

Cody Johnson is the only Texan nominated for Single Of The Year for his song “’Til You Can’t,” which was his first No. 1 song on country music radio in 2022. The Sebastopol-born singer-songwriter’s song “’Til You Can’t” was included in his 2021 album Human The Double Album.

Johnson won the fan-voted award Performance of the Year at this year’s Country Music Awards. He was also nominated for CMT’s Male Video of the Year for “Human.”
