How to nominate those who donate talent, treasure in 40 Under 40 Philanthropy awards

The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore, whose mission is to inspire community-wide philanthropy, is currently seeking nominations for the 40 Under 40 in Philanthropy awards.

The awards celebrate those who generously provide their time, talent or treasure to charitable causes and inspire others to create a significant difference on the Lower Eastern Shore, stated the nonprofit in a May 8 news release.

Nominations are being accepted now through May 15 at CFES.org/40u40. To qualify, nominees must be under the age of 40 at some point during 2024 and should have reached their 21st birthday prior to the nomination deadline.

The nominee’s philanthropic impact should occur in Somerset, Wicomico and/or Worcester counties. If a nominee works in a nonprofit, their impact should be beyond the scope of the employment.
