Powerball drawing Christmas Day

While the NJ Lottery is taking Christmas off, the multi-state lottery drawings for the Powerball and Cash4Life will still be held on Dec. 25.

The Powerball jackpot will be an estimated $620 million with a cash option of $310.8 million for Saturday night's drawing, according to the lottery website. The country-wide lottery holds drawings each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

The jackpot was last won on Oct. 11 when a lottery player in California won the $1.765 billion jackpot.
