As summer rolls in and weather gets warm, it might be time for a visit to a local splash pad. Maybe your children are bored of pools. Maybe your pool floaties sadly deflated. Whatever your reason for visiting, Columbus has a number of splash pads to fill your aquatic needs.

Here's a list of all the splash pads in and around Columbus:

Splashing in the city

The Columbus Recreation and Parks Department has four public "spraygrounds." For Memorial Day weekend and the weekend of June 1, they're open 12-6 p.m. Starting June 8, they are to be open daily from noon to 6 p.m. until Aug. 19, when they go back to only being open on weekends. They close down for the season entirely Sept. 1.
