Nitro Circus, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and more for Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival

With roughly 100 days until the 2024 Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival, details of events at Veterans Park and the Harley-Davidson Museum are revving up.

On Tuesday, Harley-Davidson announced in a press release it has started to allow fans to buy one or two-day tickets online at hdhomecoming.com for the event scheduled for July 25-28. Ticket options include general admission, the new general admission plus and VIP.

The main headliners for the festival are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jelly Roll and Hardy. But there are free events for those who want to participate but don't want to buy tickets. Here are the events Harley-Davidson announced Tuesday:

Free Kenny Wayne Shepherd concert at Harley-Davidson Museum

Legendary guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd is scheduled to play a free concert at Harley-Davidson Museum on Thursday, July 25. There will be free live music on the Rockford Fosgate Stage throughout the festival.

Aside from the concert, attendees can visit the museum.

Other events at the museum include Official Harley-Davidson Trucks display, a 2024 H-D motorcycle showroom, V-Twin Visionary custom bike shows, Harley-Davidson Factory Race Team Experience, and Real Deal Revolution Workshoppes.

Stunt group Nitro Circus to perform at Veterans Park

Nitro Circus, a stunt entertainment group, will perform three times daily on Friday and Saturday featuring athletic displays on BMX, skateboarding and motorcycle stunts and jumps with Harley-Davidson bikes.

Attendees at Veterans Park can indulge in more food options, shaded areas and improved stage viewing for VIP tickets.

Shuttles from Milwaukee bars plan to take attendees to and from Veterans Park. A list of bars participating in the shuttle has not been released.

Celebrating Willie G. Davidson

Motorcycle advocate Willie G. Davidson, grandson of Harley-Davidson founder William A. Davidson, will be honored for his contributions to the company and the culture. Davidson worked for the company for nearly 50 years and retired in 2012 as chief styling officer.

All Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival venues will honor Willie G. Davidson through both imagery and activations. In addition to highlights of Willie G. throughout its campus, the Harley-Davidson Museum will host a WGD Ride In Custom Bike Show presented by V-Twin Visionary on Saturday, July 27. An engraved Willie G. Award will be presented to the Best-In-Show winner.

Demo ride on new bike at Harley-Davidson Powertrain Operations

Attendees can take a demo ride on a new 2024 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a police skills demonstration. Visitors can also take a self-guided 45-minute tour of the Powertrain Operations facility where the motorcycles are assembled.

Harley-Davidson dealership events during festival

Six Milwaukee-area Harley-Davidson dealerships plan to host events and entertainment during the festival.

Those dealerships include House of Harley-Davidson (Greenfield), Milwaukee Harley-Davidson (Milwaukee), Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson (Thiensville), Uke’s Harley-Davidson (Kenosha), West Bend Harley-Davidson (West Bend), and Wisconsin Harley-Davidson (Oconomowoc). Family-friendly events at Harley-Davidson Headquarters and Davidson Park

Attendees can take a guided Juneau Avenue Historical Tour through and around the current company headquarters.

The first 1,000 tour attendees each day will receive an exclusive Juneau Ave Historical Tour coin. Enjoy family friendly activities such as Friday’s STE(A)Magination Day and Saturday’s Interactive Art + Culture Fair, local food, music and a vintage motorcycle showcase at Davidson Park, the new outdoor community hub created by the Harley-Davidson Foundation.
