Nine-goal day and more: Vote for the High School Boys Lacrosse Player of the Week

Archbishop Williams High's Henri Barriere has been voted the High School Boys Lacrosse Player of the Week.

The sophomore collected over 13,000 votes to earn the honor. Barriere scored 6 goals in a 15-5 win St. Mary's of Lynn.

And this week's candidates are...

Jack Kenney, Sr., Silver Lake: Kenney scored all six Laker goals, included the 100th point of his career, in an 8-6 loss to Weymouth.

Willy Robinson, Jr., Scituate: Robinson scored 9 goals in a 19-8 win over Hanover. In a 12-11 win over Marshfield in the Chowda Cup championship, he led the way with 5 goals and 3 assists.

Hunter Grafton, Sr., Abington: Grafton had 5 goals and 4 assists in a 16-2 win over Old Colony.

Ben Tondorf + Todd Egan, South Shore Tech: Egan had 4 goals and 3 assists while Tondorf had 5 goals in a 14-1 win over Hull.

Sam Wien, Jr., Duxbury: Wien scored 5 goals, including the winner in a 9-8 victory over Acton-Boxboro.

Colin Carfagna + Shaun LaCivita, Bridgewater-Raynham: In the Coaches Cup third-place game, the Trojans rallied from a 4-1 halftime deficit to defeat Wellesley, 6-5. Carfagna had 2 goals, including the winner with 1:23 remaining. LaCivita made 12 saves in the victory.

Gus Greene, Soph., Cohasset: Greene had 6 goals and 2 assists in a 14-4 win over Hanover.

Logan DelPonte, Sr., Hopkinton: The St. Bonaventure-bound Logan DelPonte fired in five goals with an assist for the Hillers in an 11-7 win over Minnechaug.

Jack Gulachenski, Sr., Algonquin: Gulachenski fired in four goals with an assist for the Titans in an 11-10 win over North Middlesex.

Jackson Mastroianni + Jamie Nelson, Srs., Blackstone Valley Tech: Mastroianni played a part in eight of the Beavers' nine goals in a 9-6 win over St. Bernard's on Saturday. Jamie Nelson scored twice for BVT. In a 15-6 win over Auburn, Nelson dished out five assists with three goals while Mastroianni contributed a hat trick. And in an 11-4 win over Bellingham, Nelson scored twice with four assists while Mastroianni put away three goals and three assists.

Dylan McEvoy, Sr., Franklin: McEvoy corralled five goals and two assists for the Panthers in an 18-1 win over Wakefield.

Alex Peck, Jr., Natick: Peck collected five goals with an assist for the Redhawks in an 11-8 win over Dover-Sherborn on Saturday.

Dante Venuto, Jr., Lincoln-Sudbury: Venuto won 16-of-22 face offs for the Warriors in a 17-5 win over Dover-Sherborn.
