The Nike x WNBA Rebel Edition uniforms are the first of three designs dropping to celebrate the league's 25th season

Ahead of a historic 25 years of play, the WNBA and Nike are unveiling an impressive new lineup of uniforms and merchandise celebrating the stories and accomplishments of all 12 teams. Leading the pack are the Rebel Edition shirts, which just dropped Thursday for Nike members exclusively.

“In 2021, Nike has a responsibility in our league partnerships to invest at a level that stands for something more,” VP of North America League Partnerships Sonja Henning said in the official release. “We have to make sure that ‘for all’ means inclusivity into a community where women can participate in sport, and in the conversations that only sport can open up.”

Each feature unique details of the the city it represents. For example, the Washington Mystics jerseys have portions of the 19th amendment inscribed on the front. For the New York Liberty, the "I" in "EQUALITY" is replaced with the torch mirroring the one held by Lady Liberty in the Big Apple.

Retailing for $100 each, the WNBA Nike Rebel Edition uniforms are available exclusively to Nike members Thursday on nike.com and in the Nike app. The WNBA Nike Explorer Edition collection will be available beginning April 14.
