Nicki Minaj announces 2024 OKC stop on 'Pink Friday 2 World Tour': What to know

Superstar rapper Nicki Minaj is bringing her highly anticipated 2024 world tour to Oklahoma City.

The "Nicki Minaj Presents: Pink Friday 2 World Tour" will include a May 2 stop at downtown OKC's Paycom Center.

The 12-time Grammy nominee's largest tour to date, the 2024 trek will take Minaj across the United States as well as to the UK, France, the Netherlands and Germany.

The tour will support the Trinidadian-born rapper and singer's long-awaited new album "Pink Friday 2," which was released Friday, five years after her previous collection, 2018's "Queen."

Minaj is the first woman to score 100 Billboard Hot 100 Hits, with 133 entries to date, and her signature smash “Super Bass” has surpassed 1 billion YouTube views.

She's currently nominated for Grammy Awards for best rap song and best song written for visual media, for "Barbie World," her collaboration with fellow rapper Ice Spice to the blockbuster "Barbie" soundtrack.

When will tickets to Nicki Minaj's 2024 OKC show go on sale?

Her 2024 show is believed to be Minaj's first at Paycom Center.

Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15 via Ticketmaster.

A Citi presale is slated for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12 through 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14 through the Citi Entertainment program. For presale details, go to www.citientertainment.com.
