Nick Carter and Aaron Carter's sister, Bobbie Jean Carter, has died at age 41.

On Saturday, Dec. 23, the siblings' mother, Jane Carter, confirmed Bobbie Jean's death to TMZ. A cause of death has not yet been publicly announced. However, Jane shared that her daughter passed away on Saturday morning in Florida.

"I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean; and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time," Jane told TMZ. "When I am able to think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement; but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private."

In addition to Aaron—who died at 24 on Nov. 5, 2022, due to drowning after inhaling difluoroethane and taking alprazolam—Jane's daughter, Leslie, died of an overdose in 2012 at age 25.

The bereaved mother's statement continued: "However deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young child at the loss of a parent must be much greater. So, I would ask the sympathetic to say a prayer for my precious eight year old granddaughter Bella, who previously lost her father and is now also left without her mother."

Bobbie Jean worked for Aaron as a wardrobe stylist and makeup artist for his tours in the early 2000s. She also appeared in the family's E! reality series House of Carters, which ran for one season in 2006.

In addition to Aaron and Leslie, Bobbie Jean was preceded in death by their father, Robert Gene Carter, who died in 2017. Bobbie Jean is also survived by a sister, Angel Carter, who is Aaron's twin.
