NFL World Reacts To Wednesday’s Deshaun Watson News
The 2021 NFL trade deadline is drawing near, which means it’s the perfect time for those Deshaun Watson trade rumors to pop back up.
Each and every month it seems a new team is in the mix to trade for the Houston Texans quarterback. The Miami Dolphins have been the team most connected to Watson over those months.
Well, on Wednesday afternoon, the Dolphins were once again linked to a potential Deshaun Watson trade. Texans insider John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reported the Texans and Dolphins are getting closer to a trade.
Whenever Watson’s name pops up in trade rumors, social media goes wild. That was the case once again today.
“Stephen Ross has met resistance on this from his front office and coaching staff for months… this development seemed imminent once those very same people started the season 1-5,” former ESPN personality Mike Ryan said.

Texans fans aren’t exactly thrilled with the news that Watson might be sticking around in the AFC.

Fans have been hearing these rumors for months, but John McClain is one of the most trusted sources on everything Texans. For that reason, fans are starting to finally believe the latest rumors.
I know there've been reports like this forever, but I take it differently when it comes from John. https://t.co/tz4NjP6Z5Y
