The Divisional Round of the playoffs are here, and the Tennessee Titans may just have running back Derrick Henry at their disposal.

On Tuesday, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel had an update on Henry’s status. He told reporters that Henry went through some contact drills this afternoon.

“I think that’s a good step up, to have some contact. It’s been a while since he’s had contact and do these things that come close to replicating what’s going to be asked of him in a football game,” Vrabel told reporters. “He’ll have a week of work, we’ll see how he feels, and then we’ll make a decision.”

Vrabel didn’t announce Henry’s status for Saturday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, but fans are hopeful that he’ll suit up. That being said, Vrabel’s press conference didn’t exactly sound very optimistic.

“This makes it sound like Derrick Henry will either have a limited role or won’t be available Saturday against the Bengals. Vrabel says Henry still hasn’t faced any contact in practice and that they’ll make a decision late this week. Very much up in the air on the star RB,” Willie Lutz of betJack said.

There are some fans who believe Vrabel was downplaying Henry’s status this Tuesday.

“I’d give his poker face a B+, holding the pocket Kings close,” one fan said.

“This seems like a blatant bluff,” another fan said.

Henry’s return would drastically increase the Titans’ chances of winning the AFC. Before he went down with a foot injury, he had 937 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.

The Titans will release Henry’s status for the Divisional Round later this week.
