NFL vaccination numbers have been climbing over the last few months, and now we reportedly have at least one team that is fully inoculated.

According to multiple reports, the Atlanta Falcons are the first NFL team to have a 100% vaccination rate. Every player still with the Falcons in training camp has received the COVID-19 vaccine.

As of Saturday, all 32 NFL franchises were above a 75% vaccination rate, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Twenty-five teams were above 90% vaccinated, with 15 possessing vaccination rates of 95% or better.

Earlier this summer, the NFL released new COVID-19 protocols which clearly incentivized being vaccinated. Players who refuse the vaccine will be subjected to more stringent regulations, as well as daily testing.

The Falcons don’t have to worry about any of that though, nor do they need to be concerned about having to forfeit a game due to a COVID-19 outbreak on the roster.

It might wind up being a long season in Atlanta, but they have already registered at least one victory here.
