NFL World Reacts To Pete Carroll’s Honest Admission
After his Seattle Seahawks fell to 3-7 on the season with a loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Pete Carroll had little patience for the media following the game.
The Seahawks head coach was very short with the media and left the postgame press conference after just a few minutes. But before leaving, he addressed whether this season has made him the most frustrated he’s ever been as a coach. Carroll immediately responded in the affirmative.
“Yes. Absolutely. Not even close,” Carroll said.
On Twitter, fans appear to be fed up with Carroll’s attitude. Some are ready to call an end to the decade-long relationship with the Super Bowl XLVIII winner:

Others are wondering if Carroll’s struggles in Seattle this year could open the door for a return to USC. The Trojans job is vacant again after Clay Helton was fired earlier this year:

The Seahawks are 3-7 thanks in large part to an offense that can’t seem to find its footing and a defense that continuously gives up big plays. Losing Russell Wilson for several games didn’t help, but they’re 0-2 since he returned from his finger injury.
Pete Carroll has not had a losing season since 2011. The following year, Wilson was first brought into the fold.
But at the rate things are going, Carroll is poised for his worst season since his infamous 1994 campaign with the New York Jets.
Now that he’s 70, it may be worth wondering how much time Carroll has left with the Seahawks.
