During this Wednesday’s media session, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger revealed his mindset for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Roethlisberger has been favored in a handful of playoff games over the course of his career, but he knows this Sunday’s game won’t be one of them.

“We’re probably 20 point underdogs and we’re going to the No. 1 team, I know they’re not the No. 1 seed but they’ve won the AFC the last two years, arguably the best team in football,” Roethlisberger told reporters. “…We don’t have a chance. So let’s just go in and have fun.”

This comment from Roethlisberger has generated mixed reactions on social media.

“Hate Big Ben or love him, but this is a fantastic approach to the game if you’re the Steelers,” a fan tweeted. “Don’t go in trying to beat the Chiefs. Just go in and have fun. You might mess around and be in it at the end.”

While there are some fans who like this comment from Roethlisberger, others can’t believe this is his mindset for Wild Card Weekend.

“There’s no way he actually said this,” one fan said.

Another fan tweeted, “Did he really say that?”

The Steelers struggled on Dec. 26 against the Chiefs, losing 36-10. Roethlisberger finished that game with 159 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception.

We’ll see on Sunday if Roethlisberger can lead the Steelers to the upset of the season.
