NFL World Reacts To Austin Ekeler Injury News
Take note, fantasy football owners – Austin Ekeler’s Week 1 status is now something to monitor.
The Los Angeles Chargers star running back was reportedly working off to the side with trainers at practice on Wednesday afternoon.
It’s unclear why Ekeler was limited at practice on Wednesday. However, ESPN’s Field Yates notes that it’s now an injury situation to monitor.

Ekeler is considered to be a top 10-12 fantasy football player this season. He’s coming off an impressive 2020 campaign, though he missed six games due to injury. Ekeler is expected to break into a bigger role in 2021.
However, fans are now concerned about his Week 1 status.
Still, Chargers fans think the team is just being cautious.
“Ekeler will play y’all, Coach Staley just likes to be very cautious. He is good,” one fan tweeted.
The Chargers running back seemed to be in a good mindset earlier Wednesday afternoon.
