NFL World Reacts To The Amari Cooper Speculation
Those expecting a quiet off-season from the Dallas Cowboys are in for an unwelcome surprise.
There’s plenty of speculation floating around that the Cowboys will explore trading Amari Cooper in the coming months.
Cooper has three years left on his current contract with the team, but the Cowboys are already stacked at the wide receiver position and can afford to lose one or two. Trading Cooper could help the Cowboys seriously invest in other positions of need.
The former Alabama star addressed his future with the Cowboys on Sunday and didn’t sound so confident he’ll be back next season.
“Cooper when asked about being back next season: ‘I don’t make those decisions. I honestly don’t know, but hopefully.'”

If the Cowboys trade Amari Cooper it’s going to spark chaos within the fan base.
“Man I really hope the Cowboys don’t let Cooper go, despite his contract dude has been nothing but a playmaker since coming to Dallas from Oakland,” one fan said.

“He needs to stay, CeeDee isn’t ready and I’m not quite sure if he will ever be a real WR1,” someone said.

“Getting rid of Cooper just to save some money isn’t the answer for a whole host of reasons. This shouldn’t be said but actually implementing him as a focal point in the offense should be the start,” a fan said.

Cooper might not be the only key Cowboy on the move this off-season.
It’s also plausible offensive coordinator Kellen Moore and defensive coordinator Dan Quinn become head coaches.
Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy have plenty of work to do in coming months.
