NFL World Reacts To Aaron Rodgers’ Press Conference Today
In his first press conference at Green Bay Packers’ training camp, Aaron Rodgers unloaded on the organization and the issues that led to the drama-filled last few months.
Rodgers filled reporters in on why he has been angry with the team, whether or not he actually considered retiring, what his mindset is moving forward and much more. It was wildly entertaining but also pretty shocking to hear the three-time MVP speak so candidly.
Whether you were actually at the presser or were just watching at home or following on Twitter, Rodgers’ words had plenty of impact.
Not surprisingly, the NFL world reacted swiftly to what he had to say.
Aaron Rodgers says, “the media loves to make stories when there’s not enough content out there.” Ummmm, it’s pretty damn clear based on this press conference that the media was not exaggerating the depth of this drama.

The Packers are going to be just fine this year.
But you can bet players are going to think twice about going to Green Bay after that press conference.
No one is going to take a discount to play there for awhile.

One thing is for certain: this is going to be a weird season in Green Bay. The Packers are still pretty loaded and are a legitimate Super Bowl contender, but things are not all copacetic between the team and its star quarterback.
When the first sign of adversity hits, it will be worth paying attention to how the organization and Rodgers respond to it.
