NFL star Duane Brown arrested on gun charge at Los Angeles airport

Longtime NFL left tackle Duane Brown was reportedly arrested on a gun possession charge Saturday at the Los Angeles International Airport.

Brown, who played for the Seattle Seahawks during the past five seasons, was booked for possession of a concealed firearm after a gun was found inside his luggage by the Transportation Security Administration, according to TMZ.

Los Angeles inmate records reviewed by the Daily News show Brown was booked Saturday and released on $10,000 bail. The charge is listed as a misdemeanor.

Los Angeles Airport Police didn’t immediately respond to a Daily News request for comment. The gun found in Brown’s luggage was unloaded, TMZ reported, citing sources.

The 36-year-old Brown was a first-round pick by the Houston Texans in 2008. He played 10 seasons with Houston before being traded to the Seahawks in 2017.

Brown, who is currently a free agent, has been selected to five Pro Bowls, including last season with the Seahawks.

He started each of the 203 games he’s played in, including all 17 games last season with Seattle, where he was tasked with protecting star quarterback Russell Wilson.

A court date in Los Angeles was set for Brown for Aug. 3, according to the inmate records.
