After eight weeks of the NFL's regular season, there's only one team that has lost one game. The Philadelphia Eagles boast the best record in football, and would currently own the top seed in the NFC if the playoffs started today.

While Tony Pollard hasn't repeated last season's success, Dallas' offense ranks second in points per game and the team's defense ranks fourth in points allowed. You might not know it if you follow a ton of Cowboys fans on X, the website formerly known as Twitter, but the Cowboys are 5-2 and are competing with the Eagles for the NFC East crown.
