NFL Free Agency 2024: Miami Dolphins' offseason additions and subtractions

The Dolphins have already lost in free agency or cut for salary cap reasons four established, impactful veterans this offseason.

The absence of Christian Wilkins (Raiders), Robert Hunt (Panthers), Xavien Howard (free agent) and Jerome Baker (free agent) are likely to be felt this season.

Miami's plan is to not overpay (especially at the defensive tackle and guard positions) and backfill with at-least competent pros as bridges to future players with high ceilings.

That's what the NFL's salary cap forces teams to do.

You can't keep them all.
