Next pit stop for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift: Glamorous Formula One race in Miami?

Taylor Swift fans are waiting to see whether the pop star shows up with boyfriend Travis Kelce at the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, a glamorous affair that melds high-tech racing with fashion and celebrity gawking.

If they show, they’ll likely have company.

The Sun, a British tabloid, reported that before Swift resumes her Eras Tour in Paris next week, she and Kelce will join Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, KC Current co-owner Brittany Mahomes, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

That’s familiar stomping grounds for racing fan Mahomes. The Chiefs won the Super Bowl there in 2020, and he’s made annual trips to the Miami race. Last year he swapped jerseys with top finishers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.

He would return in his new role as a team owner.

In October, Mahomes, Kelce and a group of other professional athletes including PGA golfer Rory McIlroy became part owners of the Alpine Racing team.

Earlier, actors Ryan Reynolds, Michael B. Jordan and Rob McElhenney invested in the same team, which could put Swift in familiar company this weekend.

Reynolds is married to Swiftie bestie Blake Lively. The Hollywood couple joined Swift in New Jersey last fall to watch Kelce and the Chiefs play the New York Jets.

Mahomes told The Star last year he got interested in Formula One during the pandemic because it was one of the first sports to return.

“Seeing it in person was surreal because you don’t realize how fast those guys are going,” Mahomes said. “I just enjoy the sport, seeing the best competing against the best.”

A source told The Sun that Mahomes and Kelce have had Miami on their agenda for a while and are eager to immerse themselves into the racing world.

“Before going to Europe, they see this as the last opportunity before the Eras Euro part madness starts, and they are looking forward to seeing the race, and see how the backstage, the paddock, and the whole F1 experience is,” said the source.

The Miami Grand Prix, which just debuted in 2022, has quickly become one of the most popular and swanky racing events in the country. Lots of parties. Lots of celebs.

One of the hottest tickets in town is Carbone Beach, an “over-the-top,” four-night, $3,000 per-person supper club set up on Miami Beach. “Traylor/Tayvis will be in interesting company: Last year’s guests included everyone from Jeff Bezos and Jimmy Butler to Brooklyn Beckham and Ivanka Trump,” notes The Miami Herald.

A-listers from across the country are expected in South Florida this weekend. Last year’s race crowd included Tom Cruise, Shakira, Vin Diesel, the Jonas Brothers, Serena Williams and will.i.am.

Gracie Hunt, daughter of Chiefs CEO and owner Clark Hunt, attended last year too and showed her Instagram followers her race-day fit — silver shorts and a black-and-silver halter — and VIP areas.

She spent Father’s Day last year at the Montreal Grand Prix with her dad.

Heads up, Chiefs Kingdom. It could be a “super” weekend in Miami.
