Woman indicted on manslaughter and negligent homicide in child's 2019 death in Laconia
Aug. 17—A woman has been arrested in the death of a minor that happened five years ago on Christmas eve in Laconia, officials said in a Friday evening news release.
Sherry Connor, 61, was arrested after a Belknap County grand jury returned indictments charging Connor with manslaughter for recklessly causing the death of the juvenile on Dec. 24, 2019. She was also indicted on charges of negligent homicide, six counts of first-degree assault, second-degree assault and four counts of witness tampering, according to a joint statement from New Hampshire State Police, Laconia Police and the Belknap County Attorney's Office.
Connor will appear in Belknap County Superior Court on the charges at a later date, authorities said.
