Where in Texas is the Little League team that’s advanced to the U.S. championship?

A Little League World Series team from Boerne beat Nevada 5-2 on Wednesday to advance to the U.S. Championship game.

Cooper Hastings shined knocking in two RBIs alongside pitching four scoreless innings while allowing only one hit, one walk and striking out two.

Boerne has dominated so far in the tournament winning all three of their games by a combined score of 18-3.

Boerne has a population of 21, 774 people and is located approximately 31 miles from San Antonio.

Spectacular play is nothing new for Boerne who also went 4-0 in regional play beating teams from Arkansas, New Mexico and Louisiana.

Their largest victory came in their first game of the tournament against a team from Pennsylvania, who they beat 9-0.

They’ll play in the U.S. championship game on Saturday.
