How to watch UIL Girls Basketball State Tournament

The UIL Girls Basketball State Championship Tournament begins Thursday morning at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

By Saturday night, six state champions will be crowned.

Here’s everything you need to know about attending or watching the state tournament this weekend.

8:30 a.m. – Class A Semifinal, Newcastle (33-1) vs. Westbrook (28-9)

10 a.m. – Class A Semifinal, Turkey Valley (36-2) vs. Neches (29-7)

1:30 p.m. – Class 3A Semifinal, Huntington (35-6) vs. Columbus (26-10)

3 p.m. – Class 3A Semifinal, Rains (36-2) vs. Shallowater (26-12)

7 p.m. – Class 5A Semifinal, Frisco Liberty (32-7) vs. Richmond Randle (30-8)

8:30 p.m. – Class 5A Semifinal, Mansfield Timberview (39-1) vs. Cedar Park (27-11)

Live Broadcasts

All games at the UIL Girls Basketball State Tournament will be streamed live on www.nfhsnetwork.com. A paid subscription is required.

The NFHS Network TV app is available in the Apple and Google Play stores, and on streaming devices such as Roku, Amazon Fire and Apple TV.

Ticket & Spectator Information

All tickets must be purchased online through Ticketmaster. No ticket offices will be open on the day of the games.

There are two types of tickets.

All-Tournament tickets – $129 plus fees

Single-session tickets – $24 plus fees

Single-session tickets are only good for two games. The stadium will be cleared after each session. There are three sessions each day.

Parking is $15 for cars, $30 for buses. An All-Tournament parking pass for all three days is $60.

The Alamodome has a clear bag policy.

Cash is accepted at concession stands, but the Alamodome prefers cashless transactions through a mobile app.
