Want to win free burritos for a year from a new Warner Robins restaurant? Here’s how
The new Surcheros Fresh Mex in Warner Robins is offering free burritos for a year for the first 50 guests to make a purchase using its reward app at the restaurant’s grand opening Aug. 20.
The new restaurant at 1277 S. Houston Lake Road will hold its grand opening from 10:15 a.m. to 2 p.m.
To qualify for the free burritos for a year promotion, the first 50 guests who make a purchase at the restaurant must scan their receipt in the Surcheros app, according to a Surcheros company post on eventbrite. Winners will receive 52 entrées, one per week, credited to their rewards account. The entrees must be used within the week of credit.
Music and other giveaways are expected at the grand opening, according to a Surcheros news release.
The quick serve restaurant chain is known for its made-to-order Tex-Mex food including burritos, tacos, nachos, quesadillas, salads and bowls. Guests can choose from a variety of meats, toppings and sauces.
The 3,400-square-foot Warner Robins restaurant includes a salsa bar and a service line for guests to customize their meals. The restaurant can seat about 90 people inside and another 24 in the outside covered patio.
Guests may also place mobile orders for pickup or delivery. The restaurant also offers catering for parties of 10 or more.
The Warner Robins Surcheros is the first in a planned expansion across seven counties by franchisees Kyle and Debbie Cullars. The couple opened their first Surcheros in their hometown of Milledgeville on July 20, 2020.
“It is very exciting for me and my family,” Cullars previously told The Telegraph. “When Debbie and I first opened the Milledgeville store, we had no intention of opening more than one.”
Then, about two years ago, their adult sons, Connor and Taylor, came to them saying they would love to be a part of Surcheros and help it to grow, Kyle Cullars said.
After much thought and numerous discussions, Cullars said he signed an area development agreement with Surcheros for the counties of Baldwin, Green, Houston, Morgan, Newton, Peach and Putnam.
The family’s next Surcheros is expected to be located in Perry.
The Surcheros chain, which has about 30 restaurants in Georgia and Florida, is growing both with corporate and franchise stores including a new store in Middle Georgia. Corporate broke ground on the Gray store in April.
The first Surcheros opened in Douglas in 2007, according to the company website. In 2017, the brand began franchising.
Hours for the Surcheros in Warner Robins will be 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The restaurant will be closed on Sundays.
