Visitation and services for an East St. Louis teen who was shot to death March 23 in Cahokia Heights are this weekend.

The wake for Daniel L. Nunn-Watson, 19, is Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at North End Missionary Baptist Church, 463 N. 88th St., in East St. Louis.

The viewing is at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, followed by the home going service at 11 a.m.

Nunn-Watson, who was shot multiple times, was found in the 100 block of Melvin Drive. Seventeen-year-old Jahrie Samudio was charged with first-degree murder in Nunn-Watson’s death.

Nunn-Watson was reported missing to the Washington Park Police Department last month and his parents were distributing fliers asking for help in locating him when they learned that he had been found shot to death.

Daniel was a person who trusted others and ``always saw the good in everybody,” his mother, Agelina Nunn-Watson told the BND in a recent interview. “He never saw bad in anyone. That was one of his weaknesses.”
