Who are Vanna White’s kids? What to know about ‘Wheel of Fortune’ host’s family

Vanna White has been entertaining audiences since 1982 as the co-host of “Wheel of Fortune” alongside Pat Sajak. Although Sajak is retiring on June 7, White will stay on the show, alongside new host Ryan Seacrest.

“We’ve watched our children grow up together, we’ve traveled all over the world, we’ve eaten hundreds of meals together, we’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve celebrated. Oh, gosh, what an incredible and unforgettable journey we’ve had,” White said in a tribute video to her long-time colleague.

While White has become somewhat of an extended family member to faithful viewers who welcome her and Sajak into their homes every night, she rarely provides a glimpse into her personal life on the show.

However, the longtime television personality is much more open about her family on social media.

She is a mom to son Nikko Santo Pietro (born June 1994) and daughter Gigi Santo Pietro (born July 1997).

White, 67, frequently gushes about her children and their accomplishments on Instagram. For Mother’s Day 2024, she posted a cute throwback picture showing Nikko and Gigi’s evolution from children to adults.

“May your day be filled with love on this Mother’s Day!” White captioned the photo.

The “Wheel of Fortune” co-host shares her son and daughter with ex-husband George Santo Pietro, to whom she was married from 1990 to 2002.

Nikko Santo Pietro

White’s oldest child has dabbled in various careers since graduating from Oregon State University, and is now working in real estate.

White shared her pride in a May 2024 Instagram post, writing, “Congratulations to my son for closing his first #homesale since becoming a real estate agent! So proud of you.”

Nikko spoke about his real estate dreams in a video posted to Instagram in June 2023.

“I have so much on my mind,” he said in a video. “I quit my job last week and I have an opportunity to go into real estate. So, I’m studying for my real estate licensing exam.” Nikko added that another one of his goals was to travel.

Nikko is also a chef and often shares videos of his creations on Instagram.

He said on his website that he owned a sourdough bakery in Missouri after graduating from college.

“I lived rurally with a few dogs on a farm in Missouri for four years in a town with population 75. I traveled 80 days in Europe with a backpack, and ultimately moved to LA, got an excellent job in Research and Development for Melissa’s Produce where I got to travel the world, and now I am (pursuing) a career in real estate,” he wrote.

Gigi Santo Pietro

Younger sister Gigi Santo Pietro is more private about her personal life on social media.

White’s daughter works as a tattoo artist in Venice, California. Gigi’s Instagram page is dedicated to her tattoo designs.

In 2023, White wished Gigi a happy birthday by posting four photos of the pair on Instagram.

“Happy 26th Birthday to my beautiful, sweet and talented daughter!” White wrote in the caption. "I love you Gigi!”
