Aug. 30—A Troy man named Trent Weston had shot and killed his wife and their 8-year-old son before police fatally shot him on the Interstate 95 bridge in Kittery, Maine, early Thursday, authorities said Friday.
All three died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to autopsy results released Friday.
"At this time, all evidence indicates that Mr. Weston is responsible for the deaths of both Brittany and Benson Weston," according to the Attorney General's Office.

Police found Brittany Weston, 37, at about 3 a.m. dead inside an apartment at 359 Monadnock St. in Troy. Troy is about 100 miles away from Kittery.
