Trenton Board of Education office evacuated after receiving bomb threat

TRENTON - The Trenton Board of Education's central office was briefly evacuated Thursday after receiving a bomb threat.

The building, located on North Clifton Avenue, was evacuated just before 8 a.m. and employees were told to report to a nearby school.

Officers from the Trenton Police Department, including bomb sniffing dogs, swept the building and cleared it for re-entry, officials said.

The threat occurred when New Jersey State Police received a bomb threat via email that officials say threatened three districts.

No arrests have been reported at this time.
