Get those engines running for one last time it’s Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach

This week Myrtle Beach will be hosting Mustang Week celebrating the iconic Ford Mustang, this event has taken place every year since 2001.

However, after more than two decades, it is coming to an end.

This is the final year for Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach, as owners and crowds gather each year to see them cruise up and down the Grand Strand.

This year on July 28th, there is a special parade taking place at Broadway At The Beach, hoping to break The Guinness World Book of Records for the largest parade of mustangs.

These cars range from some of the oldest mustangs to some of the newest models of today. This year’s Mustang week will be held through July 31, 2022.

There will be plenty of events at different locations in the Myrtle Beach area ending the week with the car show awards presented at 3 pm at the Myrtle Beach Mall on Saturday, July 30.

Myrtle Beach Mustang Week Events:

Wednesday, July 27 | “Stangs at the Beaver,” from 4 to 8 p.m., will be hosted by, The Beaver Bar, in Murrells Inlet, SC. 29576.

Thursday, July 28 | Mustang Week Parade from 6 to 9 a.m. It will take place at Broadway at the Beach on 1325 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, S.C., 29577. Car registration fee is $20.

Thursday, July 28 | Mustang week Autocross, starts at 4 p.m. Located at The Darlington Dragway, Darlington, S.C. at 2056 E. Bobo Newsome Highway, Hartsville, S.C., 29550.

Friday, July 29 | Mustang week car show, time to clean and shine those cars up, check-in time 8 to 11 a.m., judging will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., which is presented by CJ Pony Parts, located at the Myrtle Beach Mall, 10177 N Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC., 29572. The car show awards will be presented at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 30.

Saturday, July 30 | The Last Myrtle Beach car show comes to an end at the Myrtle Beach Mall, 10177 Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC., 29572. Car show awards will be presented at 3:00 pm with special trophies.
