Teen shot near Campbellton, Fairburn roads, Atlanta police investigating
ATLANTA - Atlanta police say they are on the scene of a shooting involving a 15-year-old boy.
The shooting reportedly happened in the 3900 block of Campbellton Road SW, which is near Fairburn Road SW. It was reported at 1:10 p.m.
Police say the teen who was shot in the groin was transported to a hospital for treatment.
They say all parties involved have been "contained." However, a police spokesperson would not confirm if anyone was actually arrested or give any other information about the victim, saying they were unable to do so because he is a juvenile.
They did say there is no threat to the community at this time.
