The AFC North produced three playoff teams last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns all sneaking into the postseason. Headed into 2021, all three teams, and even the Cincinnati Bengals, seem poised for strong years.

Devin Bush, for one, sounds excited about the challenge of having to play against three talented quarterbacks six total times this next season.

The Steelers linebacker is of course referencing Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow. All three won the Heisman Trophy in college and have emerged as a few of the brightest young quarterbacks in the NFL.

It’s for that reason that Bush is amped up. His Steelers will get the chance to test themselves against the league’s best signal callers numerous times in 2021.

“It’s gon be fun af playing 3 Heisman QB’s twice a year,” Bush tweeted on Wednesday.

Bush himself is a competitor. If he wasn’t he’d probably be sweating having to play some of the league’s top talent so often. Instead, he sounds eager to get back on the field after playing just five games in 2020 and going up against the three opposing quarterbacks.

The Steelers will have to fight to repeat as AFC North champions this upcoming season. With Pittsburgh’s own quarterback Ben Roethlisberger showing signs of age, head coach Mike Tomlin will need to lean on his defense again this fall if the franchise hopes to make it back into the playoffs.

The Browns and the Ravens will also be eager to get back into the postseason in 2021. Both teams made commitments to upgrading weaknesses this spring in free agency and at the draft, so should feel good about their prospects.

Meanwhile, Burrow and the Bengals will continue to grow with the hopes of becoming a division competitor in the next few years. 2021 might be too early for Cincinnati to burst back onto the scene, but it won’t be long before the former LSU quarterback is challenging for the AFC North crown.
